Grelot Physical Therapy
Mobile, AL Full Time
POSTED ON 9/3/2026

Build Your Physical Therapy Career Around Better Care, Stronger Clinical Skills, and Real Professional Growth

At Grelot Physical Therapy, you will have the time and clinical freedom to focus on what matters most, helping patients move better, recover fully, and return to the activities that matter to them.

This is a strong opportunity for a new graduate, early-career Physical Therapist, or experienced PT who wants to strengthen their orthopedic skills, develop confidence with hands-on treatment, and build a long-term career in private practice.

For more than 25 years, Grelot Physical Therapy has served the Mobile community with personalized Physical Therapy, trusted patient relationships, and a commitment to helping people achieve lasting results.

If you want to practice Physical Therapy in an environment where your clinical judgment is respected, your development is supported, and quality patient care remains the priority, we would like to meet you.

Treat Patients One-on-One

Great Physical Therapy requires enough time to evaluate, think clinically, educate, treat, and progress each patient appropriately.

At Grelot Physical Therapy, you will provide one-on-one Physical Therapy during 40-minute appointments, allowing you to stay actively involved throughout the patient's treatment.

You will have time to:

  • Perform thorough Physical Therapy evaluations.
  • Identify movement limitations and contributing impairments.
  • Develop individualized plans of care.
  • Provide hands-on treatment when clinically appropriate.
  • Progress therapeutic exercise based on patient response.
  • Educate patients about their condition and recovery.
  • Modify treatment based on clinical findings.
  • Build meaningful relationships with the patients you treat.
  • Follow patients throughout their rehabilitation process.

You will be trusted to use your clinical reasoning and professional judgment rather than being forced into a rigid treatment formula.

Build Stronger Orthopedic Physical Therapy Skills

You will work with patients experiencing a variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, giving you consistent opportunities to develop your clinical abilities.

Your experience may include:

  • Orthopedic rehabilitation.
  • Musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
  • Post-operative rehabilitation.
  • Manual therapy.
  • Therapeutic exercise progression.
  • Movement and functional assessment.
  • Pain and mobility limitations.
  • Strength and conditioning principles.
  • Patient education.
  • Return-to-activity planning.
  • Long-term case management.

The goal is not simply to move patients through a schedule.

The goal is to help you become a more confident, capable, and well-rounded Physical Therapist while delivering excellent care.

Mentorship for New Graduates and Developing Physical Therapists

Starting your Physical Therapy career should include access to experienced clinicians who can help you strengthen your clinical reasoning and decision-making.

New graduate and early-career Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply.

You will have opportunities to:

  • Ask questions about challenging patient presentations.
  • Review treatment strategies with experienced clinicians.
  • Receive feedback on evaluations and plans of care.
  • Improve your manual therapy and treatment skills.
  • Develop stronger clinical reasoning.
  • Build confidence progressing patients through rehabilitation.
  • Strengthen patient communication and education.
  • Continue developing professionally through continuing education.

You will receive support while still being encouraged to think independently and develop your own clinical style.

Experienced Physical Therapists Can Practice With Greater Autonomy

If you already have experience in outpatient Physical Therapy, this role provides the opportunity to bring your clinical knowledge into a private practice environment where your perspective is valued.

You will have the freedom to:

  • Individualize treatment based on each patient.
  • Apply your preferred evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Contribute clinical ideas.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians.
  • Help improve patient care systems.
  • Take on additional responsibility as the practice grows.
  • Mentor developing clinicians when appropriate.
  • Pursue continued professional and leadership growth.

Your experience should give you more influence over your career, not simply a larger caseload.
