Duties
- Efficiently pick customer orders using RF scanners, manual methods, and warehouse management systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments with precision, adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Handle materials using appropriate manual handling techniques to minimize risk of injury during heavy lifting or repetitive tasks.
- Support warehouse operations by maintaining cleanliness, safety compliance, and efficient workflow throughout the facility.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar environments with a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
- Skilled in order picking using RF scanners or manual methods; familiarity with
picker systems is a plus. - Valid certification for forklift operation; experience with clamp trucks, pallet jacks, crane operation or heavy equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment documentation.
- Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence in compliance with OSHA standards; physical ability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks required.
