- Supervise and mentor a team of technicians and operators.
- Schedule and assign tasks to ensure coverage and productivity.
- Provide training on automation systems, safety protocols, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Monitor and maintain automated equipment including robotics, PLCs, SCADA systems, and vision systems.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and respond to equipment failures.
- Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to implement system upgrades and improvements.
- Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead root cause analysis for technical issues affecting production.
- Provide hands-on support for complex equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain documentation for troubleshooting guides and system configurations.
- Enforce safety standards and ensure team adherence to procedures.
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.
Job Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or technical lead role.
- Strong knowledge of automated systems, robotics, PLC programming, and industrial networks.
- Experience with MES, ERP, and CMMS systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in Lean manufacturing
- Experience with industry 4.0 technologies
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or other quality systems depending on industry.
