- Develop, validate, and optimize CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS (or other relevant software) based on GD&T and engineering drawings.
- Set up and operate CMMs to perform accurate, repeatable dimensional inspections on raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products.
- Interpret complex 2D/3D CAD models and translate them into inspection routines.
- Support First Article Inspections (FAI), IQ/OQ/PQ validations, and measurement system analyses (MSA/Gage R&R).
- Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance of CMM and associated equipment.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturingteams to support design transfer, process validation, and production quality.
- Review and improve existing measurement programs for increased efficiency and accuracy.
- Comply with applicable regulations and standards, including ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, and company-specific SOPs.
- Provide training and technical support to inspectors and quality engineers as needed.

Required
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or technical degree preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CMM programmer in a regulated industry (preferably medical devices, aerospace, or automotive).
- Proficiency with PC-DMIS or equivalent CMM programming software.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA QSR (21 CFR Part 820).
- Experience with metrology tools and inspection methods (e.g., calipers, micrometers, optical comparators).
- Ability to read complex engineering drawings and CAD models.
