Greif Construction out of anamosa Iowa. We have been working in mobile home parks for over 25 years. We have an amazing group of hard working employees.
We do a lot of construction in mobile home parks.
Some examples of work we do in the park are.
- Set new homes
- Demos
- Water and Sewer repair
- Concrete work
- Decks
The crew works around 40-60 hr a week. Normally work Monday - Friday . Some longer days. Some guys will work on the weekend every now and then to get ahead or get extra overtime, but weekend is optional if we have the work available.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team. This role involves supporting various construction projects by performing physically demanding tasks, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the smooth progress of construction activities. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Load and unload construction materials and tools
- Dig trenches, mix concrete, and perform basic carpentry tasks as directed
- Operate hand and power tools safely under supervision
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
- Maintain a clean and organized work site to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist in the installation of structures, framing, or other construction components
Skills
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team
- Basic understanding of construction processes and safety procedures is preferred
- Good communication skills and reliability are essential
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks on-site
- Ability to operate basic hand tools safely is advantageous
