Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, and feedback promptly
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts and multitask efficiently
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills and basic math proficiency for cash handling and order calculations
- Previous host/hostess or serving experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude is essential
