Gregory Pallet and Lumber, a leading provider in the pallet industry, is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are looking for a hands-on individual with a strong commitment to safety and operational efficiency to maintain our machinery and facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on all production machinery, including saws, stackers, conveyors, grinders and silos, to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues across the facility.
- Fabrication and Repair: Utilize welding and fabrication skills to repair or modify equipment as needed.
- Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot electrical issues up to 480V, including motors, controls, sensors, and wiring.
- General Facility Maintenance: Assist with general building and grounds maintenance tasks.
- Documentation: Accurately record all maintenance and repair activities.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Required Abilities and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or similar role.
- Proficiency in welding (MIG/STICK) and metal fabrication.
- Strong background in electrical troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment motors, contactors, switches ect.
- Solid basic industrial knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and mechanical drives (chains, belts, gears).
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification is a plus.
