QUALITY ASSURANCE SUPERVISOR
The QA Supervisor is hands on with the day-to-day responsibilities of the department. The person oversees all duties and activities of the Technicians and leads on all shifts, which includes monitor, document and notify all Food Safety/Quality and Food Security aspects of Juice Processing, packaging stores, and Facility and Personnel to ensure that GMPs, food regulatory and product specifications are met.

What you would be doing:
Develop, train and mentor each QA Technician on your team to ensure that the company and our customers Food Safety and Product Quality standards are recognized, maintained and improved.
- Product testing at all stages of Processing and Packaging
- Lab equipment operations, maintenance and calibration
- Auditing, documenting with notification of facility sanitation & GMPs
- Monitor scheduled titrations to check chemical levels for CIP cleaning and sanitizing compounds
- Monitor and document Brix, Color, Flavor, Micro, Processing parameters including CIP, Pasteurization records, cooler temperatures, product temperature, acid (titration), release for packaging
- Monitor finished goods- packaging and date codes, sampling, leak detection, product brix, micro, color, and flavor
- Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs)
- Perform pre-operational visual inspections of packaging and product holding equipment
- Assist QA Manager in product traceback exercise, inventory control, ordering, stock rotation and food safety and quality concerns
- Complete, organize and review paperwork
Requirements:
- Knowledge of QAM policy and procedure
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Food Regulations like Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (Juice HACCP)
- Ability to stand and walk for entirety of shift, lift up to 50 pounds and climb stairs
- Ability to perform QA Technician role for Aseptic and Fresh and Frozen lines
- Experience with microbiological testing: traditional micro plating and reading of plates and Hygiena testing
- Independent and motivated personality to be able to perform tasks with minimal supervision
