Safety Coordinator
Summary
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for the company’s safety and environmental programs. The Safety Coordinator is charged with continuously improving the welfare of the workforce by reducing accidents/incidents.
Job Core Responsibilities
- Develops Safety/Environmental policies, procedures, programs, training
- Develops continuous improvement goals for safety/environmental
- Tracks unsafe conditions/measurements/evaluations
- Audits safety/environmental practices
- Manages SDS Records
- Conducts safety/environmental/ training at all organizational levels
- Provides employees direction on Safety/Environmental compliance
- Analyzes injuries, identifies root causes, & develops corrective actions
- Self-starter, detail oriented, ability to multitask
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate with management
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- 5 years of experience in EHS field
