Job Description

Shift Supervisor

Gregory Tube, located in Athens, AL, is seeking highly qualified candidates for Shift Supervisor on day, afternoon, & night shift. These positions are responsible for optimizing productivity and supervising the activities of personnel to ensure safe and effective operations. This is a salaried non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime.

The schedule is Monday through Friday with hours to be determined.

The ideal candidate will possess strut mill, welding, and shipping experience.

Requirements

• 3 years supervision experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of safety programs and regulations
• Ability to analyze information in order to optimize schedules / productivity.
• Excellent problem solver.
• Ability to coach and mentor workers for maximum effectiveness.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with tube mill or roll-forming operations
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to multi-task
• Proficiency in Windows, MS-Office, and Enterprise software
