Safety Coordinator
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for the company’s safety and environmental programs. The Safety Coordinator is charged with continuously improving the welfare of the workforce by reducing accidents/incidents.
Job Core Responsibilities:
· Develops Safety/Environmental policies, procedures, programs, training
· Develops continuous improvement goals for safety/environmental
· Tracks unsafe conditions/measurements/evaluations
. Audits safety/environmental practices
· Manages SDS Records
· Conducts safety/environmental/ training at all organizational levels
· Provides employees direction on Safety/Environmental compliance
· Analyzes injuries, identifies root causes, & develops corrective actions
Skills:
· Self-starter, detail oriented, ability to multitask
· Excellent time management skills
· Ability to work independently and communicate with management
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
· Proficient with Microsoft Office
Experience:
· 5 years of experience in EHS field
