Quality Inspector
Summary:
The Quality Inspector ensures ISO compliance and handles day-to-day quality issues.
Job Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure production compliance with applicable requirements during processing.
- Identify holds, rejects, release and reapply nonconforming material.
- Handle customer complaints and claims.
- Enforce set established quality parameters.
- Promote positive customer relations.
- Maintain calibration log.
- Manage daily in-house testing.
- Assist in maintaining WIP material.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills.
- Detailed oriented.
- Ability to multitask and remain focused.
- Personable and adept at dealing with customers.
- Strong knowledge of steel and galvanizing (defects).
- Physical and mechanical testing background.
- Uphold strict quality standards.
- Knowledge and understanding of current ISO 9000 standard.
Experience
- 2-3 years manufacturing quality experience.
