We are seeking a skilled Electrical Construction Recruiter to lead our hiring efforts and help build a pipeline of top electrical professionals.

Job Responsibilities

Recruiting & Onboarding

  • Design and implement recruitment strategies targeting skilled electrical professionals (e.g., electricians, apprentices, and utility trades).
  • Cultivate relationships with trade schools, apprenticeship programs, and industry partners to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and offer processes.
  • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
  • Conduct 45 day check-in meetings with new hires as well as exit interviews with departing employees.

Workforce Planning

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of skilled tradespeople to meet project staffing needs.
  • Proactively identify workforce gaps and adjust recruitment strategies accordingly.

Employer Branding & Industry Engagement

  • Represent the company at job fairs, industry events, and networking functions to attract top talent.
  • Promote the company’s safety-first culture and employee well-being initiatives.
  • Develop marketing strategies to enhance employer branding and attract skilled professionals.

Qualifications & Experience

2 years of experience in recruiting, preferably in electrical construction, skilled trades, or general construction.

Strong knowledge of electrical licensing requirements, OSHA standards, and industry hiring practices is preferred.

Strong networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in using recruitment websites, job boards, and ATS platforms

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb; lifts and carry up to 60 lbs, crawl, kneel, push and reach; use hands to fingers, handle, and feel.

Work Environment

In performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.
