What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Gregory Design & Manufacturing?
We have picked up Tesla as a customer along with significant orders from our existing customer base. This has resulted in a need for machine operators on both our first and second shift. My guess is that the need for welders will probably follow. We are looking for a couple of hardworking, dependable people to join our team. Your job will be to fabricate steel into usable pieces for the welders by cutting, bending, and drilling steel. This will be accomplished primarily by using computer-controlled machines/equipment.
Must be able to:
* Lift #50
* Read a tape measure
* Pass a drug test
* Collaborate with team members
* Work some overtime
Pluses:
* Willing to operate a forklift
* Comfortable using computerized machines
* Have reliable transportation
