This role is key to ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Gregory’s high standards of quality and integrity. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise all onsite construction activities and field personnel.
- Coordinate daily/weekly schedules, subcontractors, material deliveries, and equipment.
- Partner with Project Managers to develop work plans, logistics, and safety strategies.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA and company policies.
- Monitor quality control, field productivity, and job site progress.
- Assist with site layout and survey coordination as needed.
- Mentor and develop crew members while fostering a safety-first culture.
- Resolve field issues and keep projects on track through proactive communication.
- 10 years of field construction experience, including 5 years supervising heavy civil or mission critical projects.
- Prior experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Foreman on similar scopes.
- Strong knowledge of grading, paving, storm drainage, utilities, and concrete work.
- OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid preferred.
- Ability to read plans and specifications, lead teams, and make sound field decisions.
- Willingness to travel frequently to job sites across the region.
