Position Overview: Gregor Industries is looking for an HR Generalist The HR Generalist will handle various HR functions within the company, focusing on employee relations, compliance, training, employee onboarding, and safety. This role supports both management and employees to ensure a productive, safe, and compliant work environment.
What You'll Do:
- Employee Onboarding: Oversee the entire onboarding process, including document collection, orientation, and introduction to company policies, safety protocols, and team members.
- Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, promote a positive work culture, and resolve conflicts.
- Employee Offboarding: Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews, final pay, benefits continuation, and ensuring the return of company property.
- Payroll Documentation: Ensure the accurate processing of payroll documentation, including timesheets, deductions, and overtime.
- Compensation & Benefits: Administer payroll, benefits, and ensure compliance with compensation laws.
- Training & Development: Coordinate safety training and development programs for employees.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws, OSHA regulations, and other industry standards.
- Safety: Support safety programs and ensure compliance with workplace safety protocols.
- Performance Management: Assist with performance appraisals and employee feedback.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s in HR, Business, or related field (PHR or SHRM-CP preferred).
- 3-5 years in HR (required), with construction industry experience (preferred).
- Experience managing employee relations, payroll and benefits administration, performance management, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Solid understanding of labor laws, OSHA regulations, and safety compliance in the construction industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience in creating and conducting employee training programs, especially related to safety and compliance.
Pay Range
USD $30.00 - USD $45.00 /Hr.Salary : $30 - $45
