Overview
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Farm Maintenance Worker to join our team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is comfortable around farm equipment and animals, and can handle a variety of daily maintenance and repair tasks.
Responsibilities
- General farm and property maintenance
- Operating tractors, mowers, skid steers, and other farm equipment
- Mowing, trimming, brush hogging, and maintaining fields
- Fence installation and repair
- Barn, stall, and building maintenance
- General plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repairs
- Equipment maintenance and basic repairs
- Cleaning and maintaining work areas
- Assisting with farm and horse needs as necessary
- Snow and ice removal when needed
- Identifying and addressing maintenance issues before they become larger problems
- Other general farm duties as needed
Experience
- Previous farm, agricultural, construction, or maintenance experience preferred
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable operating farm equipment
- Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Reliable, dependable, and hardworking
- Valid driver's license
- Must be willing to perform a variety of tasks and learn new skills
