What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Coordinator position at Greg Kelley Farms?
Duties:
- Generate bills and invoices specific to customer accounts
- Set up new customer accounts & update current accounts as needed
- Process driver paperwork & timesheets for billing
- Audit data entered for billing and compile excel spreadsheets
- Review/Update billing and pay rates in system in accordance with rate schedules
- Identify and fix rating errors, communicate with operations on root cause corrections required
- Accurately transfer information from the customer's bill of lading document into our freight billing system
- Ensure proper records handling and fast payment responses by entering data precisely and in a timely manner
- Obtain missing or correct data when necessary
- Make collections calls and send emails on delinquent accounts
- Managing the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies
- Ensure all customers remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines by generating account statements
- Generate monthly and quarterly reports
- Manage and organize records and files
Requirements:
- Proficient in Excel
- Some college education (degree preferred)
- Previous Billing Experience preferred
- Payroll & Accounting Experience preferred
- Experience in the transportation industry is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be well organized & detail oriented
- Must be able to follow standard filing procedures

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
