Role Description: The Quality Assurance Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Wilson, NC. This role involves designing, executing, and maintaining test plans and test cases to verify the quality and reliability of power-supporting products and related software and control systems. The Quality Assurance Engineer will perform manual testing, document defects, collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues, and help refine quality standards and processes. Daily tasks include reviewing product specifications, conducting functional and regression tests, analyzing test results, and preparing clear quality reports. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives, helps implement best practices in testing and quality assurance, and contributes to meeting regulatory and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance and Software Testing skills, with a focus on structured QA methodologies and standards.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Manual Testing and executing Test Cases across hardware, firmware, and software components.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Test Execution, including planning, running, and documenting tests and defects in a systematic way.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with testing tools, defect tracking systems, and basic test automation concepts (experience with automation is a plus).
- Relevant experience in electrical, electronics, industrial systems, or manufacturing environments is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and work on-site in a fast-paced environment.
