Greer Discount Pharmacy is seeking a reliable, highly motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with pharmacists to provide exceptional patient care and ensure efficient pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities:
- Process and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Verify prescription information and dosage instructions
- Prepare medications and labels
- Maintain patient profiles and prescription records
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding prescription orders and patient care
- Perform inventory management and restocking of medications and supplies
- Provide excellent customer service to patients
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or equivalent experience
- Current pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience:
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred but not required
