Role Description
We are seeking a Professional Structural Engineer for a full-time remote position. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting structural evaluations, performing detailed structural analyses, and preparing engineering reports. You will develop designs, create drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software, and provide consultation on civil and structural engineering projects. Collaboration with the team to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards will also be a key part of this role. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the safety and quality of residential and commercial properties across Texas.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering practices
- Strong skills in Structural Analysis and performing Calculations for various project types
- Experience in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for drafting and design
- In-depth knowledge of applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and client interaction
