Position: Elementary Special Education Teacher
About the Role:
Greenwood School District 50 is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Elementary Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 20252026 school year. This teacher will provide individualized instruction and support to help students with special needs reach their fullest potential in both academic and social development.
Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Teacher's Certification in Special Education
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff in a supportive and professional manner
Work Schedule & Compensation:
- 190-day contract
- Salary determined by the district teacher salary scale, based on degree and years of experience
