Position Overview:
Greenwood School District 50 is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Music Teacher to join our team for the 20262027 school year. We are looking for an educator who inspires young learners through music and fosters a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Teaching Certification in Music (or eligible for certification)
- Bachelor's Degree in Music Education or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively connect with students, families, and staff in both face-to-face and phone interactions
Contract & Compensation:
- 190-day contract
- Salary based on the district's teacher salary scale, determined by degree and years of experience
