POSITION TITLE: Child Nutrition Operator
SUMMARY: Serves the students attractive and nutritious meals in an efficient, clean, warm atmosphere.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
Þ Assists in the preparation and serving of food in a quick and pleasant manner.
Þ Assumes responsibility for making sure that the supply of food is replenished regularly.
Þ Assists in the daily cleaning of the kitchen and service areas.
Þ Performs major cleaning of refrigerators and storerooms at regularly scheduled intervals as designated by the lunchroom manager.
Þ Assumes responsibility for storage and disposal of unused foods.
Þ Demonstrates willingness to learn various jobs in the lunchroom and attends inservice programs.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED and one year experience in cafeteria or restaurant work. Demonstrated aptitude for successful completion of the tasks assigned.
WORK SCHEDULE: 185 days
SALARY: Grade 9 of the Classified Salary Schedule
