Job Objective
- Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on spinning machinery, lubricates machinery, cleans machinery when stopped off, and performs assigned duties
- Performs preventive maintenance & repairs on spinning machines
- Inspects and lubricates machinery
- Performs stop off cleaning
- Follows safety rules prescribed by plant
- Must be able to work safely around moving parts
- Must understand mechanical operation of loom
- Must be able to transport and install pieces of equipment weighing 75-100 lbs.
- Must be able to climb and use a ladder as needed
- Must be able to use gauges, power tools, and hand tools
- Must be able to supply own work tools
- Must be able to read and understand written instructions
- Must be able to complete simple reports
- Must be able to write legibly
- Must be able to perform simple math
- Must be able to distinguish colors in stock-in-process and waste
- Must be able to wear ear plugs, respirator/dust mask, goggles/eye protection, and other protective pieces of equipment
- Must be able to meet Plant schedules and attendance requirements as specified in Company Policies
- 1st shift: 8am - 4pm
