Warehouse Associate/ Delivery Driver

Greenwood is currently hiring a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate/ Delivery Driver to join our team in Milford, MA. You will be responsible for various tasks related to Warehouse and delivery operations, including Forklift operation, loading and unloading materials, driving construction materials to and from job sites, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Drive construction materials to and from job sites
• Operate forklifts and move materials and equipment within the yard and warehouse
• Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Assist in the rigging and securing of loads for transport
• Stage materials for upcoming roofing jobs
• Build and assemble pallets, and other packaging materials as needed
• Maintain inventory control of roofing material
• Perform general maintenance tasks to keep the yard and warehouse clean and organized
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including OSHA regulations
• Assist with shipping and receiving duties as required
• Support off-site maintenance and delivery/pick-up assignments

Requirements:

• Possess or be able to acquire DOT medical card which will require a physical and drug testing
• Ability to work in a warehouse facility; indoors and frequently outside
• Must be able to work in environmental factors that include noise, dust, hot weather, and cold weather
• Ability to safely lift heavy objects often and perform physically demanding tasks
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
• Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, and gangways on a frequent basis and be able to work while standing on a continuous basis.
• Ability to safely work aloft (heights over 20’) including ladders, man lifts, harnesses, equipment tops and scaffolding
