Position Responsibilities - Essential
- Perform both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex CNC machinery
- Perform Preventive and Predictive maintenance on production equipment
- Effectively troubleshoot failures and work in team environment to determine root cause of failure
- Participate in plant shift meeting and continuous improvement activities
- Utilize CMMS system to manage work orders and review work history
- Execution of all duties with a safety-first mindset and approach
- Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities
- Based on the nature of the essential functions associated with this role, GreenWood has designated this as a “safety-sensitive” position
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required, post-secondary education and/or a technical trade certificate a plus. Mechatronics degree preferred
- At least 5 years of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and basic electrical repair
- Experience with PLC and CNC test equipment to include troubleshooting, repairs, PM’s, and other world-class maintenance measures
- Experienced, preferably by formal training, in principles and standards for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical equipment operations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
- Ability to write detailed repair reports
- Must have good mathematical skills, including basic algebra, to calculate electrical/electronic equations as needed
- Experience demonstrating successful support of a positive safety culture
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation(s)
- Expertise and proficiency with basic office computer software and the ability to learn how to effectively use maintenance software to input data and research parts is highly preferred
