We are looking for an experienced Director of Nursing to oversee the operations of the nursing department. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, manage nursing staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with all regulations and best practices.
The Director of Nursing with Greenwood House has the following responsibilities:
- Demonstrate nursing leadership, possess a strong ability to work with and develop teams, and have an in-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and protocols.
- Will direct, evaluate, and supervise all resident care needs.
- Maintain department budget, and ensure employee performance management, and staff training.
- Establishing new policies and updating existing policies to improve the standard of care for residents.
- Conduct interviews and hire nursing employees and ensure that staffing levels are appropriate.
- Maintain effective working relationships with team members, residents, family members, and physicians.
A successful Director of Nursing with Greenwood House has the following:
- Valid NJ RN licensure
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration
- Previous Point Click Care experience preferred.
- Proficient in Medicare regulations and reimbursements
- At least two (2) years of experience as a Director of Nursing.
- Knowledgeable with State and Federal regulations and compliance.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Aptitude for problem-solving.
- LTC experience
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively under pressure
