Role Description The Foundation and Marketing Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Eureka, KS. This position is responsible for leading foundation activities, including fundraising campaigns, donor relations, grant development, and stewardship of philanthropic support for the hospital. The Director oversees marketing and communications strategies to strengthen the hospital’s brand, promote services, and engage the community through digital, print, and community outreach channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing foundation events, managing marketing materials and social media, collaborating with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, and tracking the impact and performance of fundraising and marketing efforts. The role works closely with clinical, administrative, and community partners to align messaging with the hospital’s mission and ensure consistent, inclusive communication.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in fundraising, donor relations, and foundation or nonprofit management, including planning and executing campaigns and events.
• Skills in marketing strategy, branding, and communications, with experience in digital, print, and community outreach channels.
• Proficiency in content development and editing for newsletters, press releases, social media, and other promotional materials.
• Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills across internal teams and external community partners.
• Ability to analyze data, track metrics, and use reporting tools to evaluate fundraising and marketing effectiveness.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, nonprofit management, business, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered.
• Prior experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or community-based organizations is preferred.
