What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activity Aide 11AM-7PM position at Greenwood Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing?
Greenwood Village is seeking a full-time Activity Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidates must be devoted and compassionate about their chosen careers. Activity Assistant will have experience working with individuals with dementia, have a highly enthusiastic personality, and be able to develop creative activities for our residents.
The hours for this position are 11 AM-7 PM.
Responsibilities of Activity Assistant:
- Conducts and/or assists with assignments and assigned activity groups
- One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet resident/client needs
- Provides input and assistance with activity planning
- Escort residents to and from activities
- Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, public
Qualifications of Activity Assistant:
- Experience is preferred
- High School Graduate or GED
