ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PRINCIPAL – Eleanor S. Rice Elementary School

(2026–2027 School Year)

Greenwood School District 50 is seeking a dynamic and highly qualified instructional leader to serve as Principal beginning with the 2026–2027 school year. The principal is responsible for providing leadership for the school's instructional program, fostering a positive and safe learning environment, and promoting high levels of student achievement.

This position offers a 240-day contract, with salary based on the district's administrative salary schedule.

Qualifications Include

• Valid South Carolina administrative certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated leadership in curriculum development, instructional improvement, and data analysis
• Experience integrating and supporting the effective use of technology in instruction and school operations
• A record of promoting affirmative action and equal opportunity
• The ability to develop and implement meaningful professional development for staff
