Role Description The Intake Specialist is a part-time fully remote. This position is responsible for managing incoming client inquiries, conducting initial intake interviews, and gathering essential clinical and administrative information to support appropriate provider matching. Daily tasks include answering new patient inquiries , explaining practice services, and guiding them through registration and scheduling. The Intake Specialist is the first contact to ongoing care. The role also involves upholding confidentiality, and providing a compassionate, professional first point of contact for clients, at a rate of $50.00 per hour.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to engage sensitively and professionally with diverse clients and staff.
- Hands-on experience with Client Intake and Customer Service, including gathering information, scheduling appointments, and managing inquiries.
- Prior experience in a mental health, medical, or related healthcare setting is highly beneficial.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage multiple tasks, and work independently in a remote environment.
- associate or bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field preferred.
