Job description:
DELAMAR/ARTISAN - Luxury hotel in blue back square West Hartford is seeking a Catering Coordinator to join their dynamic team
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Detail Contracted Events (i.e. – menu, set up, timeline, and logistics of the event)
- Meeting with booked clients as needed
- Responsible for all group billing including deposits, and final invoices for event and meeting balance.
- Coordinate with banquet services of Artisan to ensure an overall smooth and efficient group meeting experience.
- Verify and send out invoices for all meetings and events
- Maintain an inventory of office supplies.
- Prepare and maintain an inventory of wedding & meeting packets for site tours
- Maintain Social Media Accounts for the event department
- Maintenance of files for all future, current, and past groups
- Create and update the weekly event calendar. Responsible for circulating all BEOs and Floorplans, to appropriate departments
- Answer sales office phones, and take messages & inquiries for the Director of Catering & Catering Sales Manager when they are not in the office.
- Assisting Banquets department as needed with events
- Assisting Director of Catering with any additional tasks or projects.
Must be able to work occasional weekends
