POSITION SUMMARY
The Men’s Locker Room Attendant plays a key role in maintaining a first-in-class, private club environment at Greenwich Country Club. This position is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, organization, functionality, and overall presentation of the men’s locker room while delivering a professional, discreet, and welcoming experience for members and their guests. The attendant must uphold member confidentiality and consistently operate with the highest standards of service and professionalism.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Greet members and guests warmly and assist with locker assignments.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including opening and closing checklists, daily signoffs, and computer logins.
- Operate with defined monthly objectives focused on improving locker room operations and the member experience.
- Adhere to assigned work schedules; ensure any required overtime is approved in advance by a supervisor.
- Conduct 30-day operational evaluations and identify opportunities to improve facilities, amenities, and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain finished daily shoe inventory and ensure organization and cleanliness.
- Prepare daily guest lockers with nameplates based on the tee sheet.
- Track and report monthly locker availability.
- Report facility maintenance needs promptly through the designated app facility dude.
- Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the locker room using a daily checklist.
- Ensure part-time locker room staff are adequately trained in all aspects of men’s locker room operations.
- Remain visible and available to members and guests to ensure prompt assistance.
- Coordinate with the housekeeping team to ensure bathrooms, steam room, and showers are sanitized and maintained to Greenwich Country Club standards using approved cleaning supplies.
- Monitor locker room supplies, report inventory levels, and submit ordering needs on the first of each month.
- Ensure an ample supply of towels and amenities; restock shelves as needed.
- Periodically inspect bathroom areas and replenish toiletries as required.
- Prepare the kitchenette area daily for Saturday and Sunday mornings.
- Empty trash receptacles; dust, vacuum, and spot-clean carpets as necessary.
- Clean and maintain trophy cases and lockers.
- Wipe down tables and chairs, and keep seating lounge furniture organized.
- Communicate member concerns promptly to supervisors.
- Execute special projects and assignments as directed by supervisors.
- Assist with special member requests while maintaining discretion and professionalism.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding maintenance issues, operational needs, and member feedback.

SCHEDULE
- Regular schedule:
- Wednesday: 3PM-7:30PM
- Thursday: 3PM-7:30PM
- Friday: 3PM-7:30PM
- Saturday: 3PM-7:30PM
- Sundays: 7AM-6:30PM.
- Mondays may be required during outings and special events.
- Schedule may be adjusted based on club events, weather conditions, and operational needs.
- Availability is required for all member events and tournaments.INCIDENTAL DUTIES
