Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for guest relations in a hotel or resort setting.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Display and maintain a professional manner when addressing individuals on the telephone.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations.
- Process payments and manage billing procedures.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate.
- Provide information about local attractions, services, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- The ability to work with other team members and coordinate effectively with other internal departments in the club is required.
- Always be discrete with members and guests when addressing private matters.
- Manage reservations for dining outlets, member events, and clubhouse functions.
- Answer member and guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person and deliver service in accordance with Greenwich Country Club standards.
- Liaise with management team and other Front Desk Agents
Skills
- Strong phone etiquette to communicate effectively with guests over the phone.
- Experience in hotel management or hospitality management is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Familiarity with night audit processes is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Knowledge of resort operations and guest services will be beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be energetic, outgoing, and very friendly personality

Qualifications
- Customer service experience in a hospitality setting
- Proficiency in front desk operations and guest services
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Prior experience in hotel management or hospitality industry
- Ability to work night audit shifts and handle multi-line phone systems
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Two years concierge experience, reception experience, or equivalent
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Strong written communication skills for email correspondence
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office Suite applications
Hours:
Tuesday: 3 PM to 11 PM
Thursday: 3 PM to 11 PM
Saturday: 3 PM to 11 PM
Sunday: 3 PM to 11 PM
Additional Hours may be available, these are the required hours weekly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour
