Key Responsibilities
- Plan and lead engaging practices focused on skill-building, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Teach sport rules, fundamentals, and strategies appropriate for middle school and/or upper school athletes
- Create a safe, structured, and motivating environment for all players
- Manage team logistics including game lineups and basic equipment oversight
- Communicate regularly with players, families, and the Athletics Department
- Supervise students during all team activities and ensure proper conduct
- Represent Greenwich Academy positively in all interscholastic competitions
- Prior coaching or competitive sport specific experience (middle school level or higher preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Enthusiastic and patient with young athletes
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass background check and meet all Greenwich Academy employment requirements
