Greenway Residential Cleaning has proudly cared for homes throughout Cary and surrounding communities for five years. We continue to grow and have been recognized as Best of Cary 2026 for House Cleaning Services.

Our cleaning teams give busy families more time, helps them feel comfortable in their homes, and provides one less responsibility during the demanding seasons of life. The relationships we build with our customers are at the heart of what we do.

We are looking for a thoughtful, dependable cleaning team leader who wants to grow with us. The person selected for this position will help shape how our cleaning teams are trained, organized, supported, and developed as Greenway moves forward.

The Role — W-2 Employee Position

This is an cleaning employee position—not an independent-contractor opportunity.

As a Residential Cleaning & Client Care Lead, you will clean homes alongside your team while coordinating the cleaning strategy for each home, caring for the customer relationship, inspecting completed work, and training new team members as they grow.

This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys:

  • Cleaning alongside and training people to clean
  • Using new cleaning methods
  • Helping families
  • Building trusted customer relationships
  • Creating calm and organization
  • Supporting and encouraging others
  • Taking pride in thoughtful, detailed work
  • Solving problems independently
  • Sharing ideas and improving processes
  • Leading through kindness, confidence, and example

You will be trusted to make appropriate decisions in the field. You will also have opportunities to contribute ideas that improve Greenway’s training, procedures, quality standards, customer experience, and team structure.

You will not simply be asked to complete the work. Your experience, observations, and ideas will matter.

Compensation

  • $20–$25 per hour, based on experience, demonstrated ability, certifications, and performance
  • Paid hands-on training
  • Employees keep 100% of their customer tips
  • Performance bonuses
  • Employee-referral bonuses
  • Regular performance and compensation reviews

Schedule

  • Full-time and part-time opportunities
  • Monday through Friday
  • Daytime hours
  • No regularly scheduled nights, weekends, or holidays
  • Consistent work with established recurring customers
  • Predictable scheduling that supports life outside of work

Benefits and Support

  • Four quarterly paid Wellness Days
  • Company paid Spa treatments with each Wellness Day
  • Paid professional-development opportunities
  • Company-provided uniforms
  • All cleaning products, supplies, and equipment provided
  • Structured onboarding and hands-on training
  • Ongoing support from the operations office
  • Opportunities to contribute ideas and influence company decisions

Professional Development and Career Growth

Greenway will support the selected Team Lead in pursuing an ISSA certification or another approved cleaning-industry certification.

Professional-development support may include:

  • Certification enrollment
  • Study materials
  • Examination fees
  • Paid training or study time
  • Certification renewals

This position also offers a path toward becoming Greenway’s lead trainer. Future responsibilities may include onboarding new employees, coaching established teams, conducting quality inspections, developing training materials, and maintaining consistent standards across all Greenway cleaning teams.

We are interested in helping the right person build a meaningful career—not simply fill another position.

What We’re Looking For: A caring, service-minded approach

You understand that cleaning a home is one way of caring for the people who live there. You listen to what matters to each family and treat their home, belongings, pets, and privacy with respect.

Independent thinking

You understand the desired result, evaluate each situation, and make thoughtful decisions. You can solve routine problems and recommend improvements instead of depending entirely on a checklist.

Ownership

You take responsibility for your decisions and results. You communicate concerns early, acknowledge mistakes honestly, and help find solutions without blaming others.

High standards

You consistently deliver thoughtful, detailed work. You protect customer privacy, property, and trust while taking pride in work that represents Greenway well.

Supportive leadership

You lead by working alongside your team. You set clear expectations, recognize good work, provide respectful guidance, and help team members feel confident and capable.

Communication

You listen carefully, explain expectations clearly, and provide feedback with patience and respect. You maintain professional relationships with customers, team members, and the operations office.

Integrity and dependability

Families trust us inside their homes. We are looking for someone who is honest, reliable, discreet, and committed to doing the right thing—even when no one is watching.

You May Be a Great Fit If You

  • Enjoy making life easier for other people
  • Like creating clean, calm, and organized spaces
  • Have experience supporting, teaching, mentoring, or caring for others
  • Prefer to lead through example instead of authority alone
  • Want your ideas and observations to be valued
  • Are looking for stable daytime work with opportunities to grow

Professional cleaning and leadership experience is at the base of this role, but it is not the only experience we value. Skills developed through customer service, caregiving, hospitality, education, healthcare support, administration, or other detail-oriented work may transfer well to this position though cleaning experience is necessary.

You do not have to meet every preferred qualification to apply. If this position sounds like a meaningful fit for your strengths and values, we encourage you to introduce yourself.
