Join our dynamic landscape team as a Landscape Crew Member and Driver, where your energy and expertise will bring outdoor spaces to life! Your responsibilities will include operating a variety of vehicles and equipment, performing landscape maintenance tasks, and supporting the overall beautification of residential and commercial properties. Duties
- Operate trucks, trailers, and other vehicles safely to transport tools, materials, and crew members to job sites.
- Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features like patios or walkways.
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and aerating to ensure pristine turf conditions.
- Maintain landscapes through pruning, tree trimming, irrigation system installation and repair, and general landscape maintenance.
- Use hand tools and power tools for tasks like digging, planting, edging, and installing landscape features.
Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance to ensure all tools and machinery operate efficiently.
Requirements
- Prior experience with landscaping or horticulture is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools, hand tools, excavators, or other construction equipment is highly advantageous.
- Ability to operate a variety of landscaping machinery including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and snow plows safely.
- Knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, tree care (including trimming), irrigation systems, and hardscape installation.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials regularly.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving trucks or large vehicles is a plus.
