Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks and landscaping equipment, including excavators, power tools, and hand tools, to transport materials and crew members to job sites
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, tree trimming, shrubbery pruning, and irrigation system installation or repair
- Support hardscape projects by handling excavation, stonework, and other construction-related activities
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safety and operational efficiency
- Help with snow plowing during winter months to maintain safe access for clients and team members
- Collaborate with team members on landscaping projects involving horticulture, tree care, lawn care, and gardening tasks
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working with heavy machinery and landscaping tools
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge with experience operating land vehicles and landscaping equipment such as excavators and power tools
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred
- Familiarity with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation, tree trimming, mowing, and irrigation systems
- Ability to handle hand tools safely and efficiently in various outdoor environments
- Knowledge of snow plowing operations during winter months is a plus
- Strong work ethic with excellent teamwork skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL certification is a bonus but not required
