Greenway Laredo CDJR seeks a Parts Warehouse Clerk/ Delivery Driver. The candidate is extremely knowledgeable about automotive parts and accessories and can accurately answer questions and satisfy customer inquiries in person. He/She locates automotive parts within the current inventory or from other sources (such as the internet, vendors, other dealerships, etc.) and arranges for delivery and installation.
The ideal candidate has a at least 1 year of previous experience with automotive parts and accessories. Candidates must have a pleasant and courteous personality, strong customer service and organizational skills, strong computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This employee delivers parts and accessories to local businesses, receipts payments and tracks inventory. The Parts Delivery Driver drives company vehicles to pick up and deliver parts in the local area. He/She transports products from local parts sources and delivers them to our dealership. Most importantly and without exception, the Delivery Driver operates within the legal speed limits and in a safe fashion at all times. This position has been designated as a safety-sensitive position. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and previous experience with automotive parts and accessories.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receipt and stock in all parts orders
- Able to locate accessories/parts and arranges for installation
- Inspect shipments and receipt for quantity and damage if applicable
- Maintain physical inventory by keeping stock in correct locations, sale condition and free of safety hazards
- Maintain all parts shelves are stocked using the space available in an efficient manner
- Notify the parts manager of any parts that are received damaged or missing
- Monitors parts inventory and maintains storage area in good condition
- Must be able to lift, bend and carry parts and accessories that weigh upwards of 75 pounds
- Must be able to follow instructions while working safely and efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Provides timely and accurate reports as required
- Strong attention to detail is required
- Ensures safe and on time delivery of parts following all company procedures and standards
- Keep an accurate log of deliveries
- Obey posted speed limits and all rules of the road
- Inspect delivery vehicle daily for proper operation of all safety items

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience preferred as warehouse clerk and/or driver
- Working knowledge of automotive parts
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
