- Greet patients warmly and manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification processes efficiently.
- Schedule appointments using dental practice management software Dentrix, coordinating patient flow seamlessly.
- Review and update medical records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- 2 years with Dentrix software
Skills
- Strong knowledge Dentrix
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Exceptional patient service skills combined with phone etiquette and professional communication abilities.
- Ability to verify insurance benefits accurately and perform Medicare verification.
- Bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to safeguard patient information at all times.
- Experience with clinic or hospital environments is preferred to navigate complex workflows smoothly.
- Strong organizational skills for filing, data entry, and managing multiple priorities efficiently.
