Greenway Automotive is seeking a highly motivated experienced Tags and Title Clerk!
The ideal candidate must have two years of experience in a similar position. Candidates must have a pleasant and helpful personality, strong administrative and organizational skills, good computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous automotive dealership experience a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and provides a current list of outstanding titles to the controller.
- Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled
- Out of state Title processing
- Working schedules for tag & title work
- Applying for duplicate titles
- Doing metal & temp tag inventory
- Updating notes in the system
- Tracking completed work
- Print customer’s registrations
- Title & trade pack inventory
- Provide tag & tile work support to guests, management and employees as needed
- Stay abreast of title regulations. Attend seminars held by local licensing bureaus and any available
- Provides assistance and support to accounting personnel
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Automotive Title Work: 2 years
- Prior title work experience required
- Dealership accounting, CDK, DealerDMV experience helpful
- Notary Public preferred
- Current, valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Highly professional and dependable
- Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
- Excellent telephone skills
- Strong computer, typing, and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
