Responsibilities:
🔧 Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership standards.
🚗 Test-drives vehicles and tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment specific to Chrysler Dodge Jeep.
⚙️ Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs automotive transmissions and related systems for Chrysler Dodge Jeep vehicles.
💬 Communicates directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of any additional service needed, providing accurate time estimates for additional repairs.
🛠️ Executes repairs under Chrysler Dodge Jeep warranty to manufacturer specifications.
📚 Willingness to learn with hands-on training on Chrysler Dodge Jeep technology.
✅ Performs other duties as assigned.
✅ Certified Chrysler Dodge Jeep Technician is required.
🎓 ASE Certification or graduation from an associate degree program in auto maintenance and repair is encouraged.
🔧 At least two years of experience as an automotive technician, with preference for those with Chrysler Dodge Jeep certification.
⚙️ Strong knowledge of all aspects of Chrysler Dodge Jeep automotive repair and maintenance.
🔍 Familiarity with Chrysler Dodge Jeep shop equipment such as diagnostic tools, alignment systems, AC equipment, and lift operation.
📝 Must be able to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
👔 Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
💬 Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
🚗 A valid driver's license is required.
