We are seeking an experienced, successful, and engaged Dispatcher to join our team. This position is expected to work out of our office at 675 Los Esteros Rd. in San Jose, CA 95134 and limited job-related travel may be required.
Position Summary:
GreenWaste is seeking to fill the position of Dispatcher to provide support to one or more facilities. This role’s main function will administer the day-to-day functions, help dispatch drivers, data entry, and front desk reception work.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Maintain Confidentiality of sensitive information
- Assist employees with inquires including passing out paychecks, address change forms, W4 request, benefit
- Assist with the new hire orientation and provide all paperwork to the HR team.
- Input data and weight tag information daily for accurate record keeping.
- Coordinate activities and operations to secure efficiency and company policies.
- Manage phone calls, correspondence (e-mails, letters, packages) and front desk responsibilities.
- Verify and log receipt of data, follows up to obtain any data that is missing.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Resolve all issues for customers and drivers in a timely manner
- Record and maintain files or records of customer request, work or services performed, charges, or other dispatch information
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work with senior management, supervisors, and employees.
- Ability to keep information confidential
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or Related Software
- Ability to Multitask efficiently and remain organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of administrative experience.
Language Skill:
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to physically push, pull and lift objects up to 15 lbs.
Work Environment:
Typical work week is Monday through Friday. Semi-frequent early morning, evening, and weekend calls/correspondence with urgent matters. Might be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and odors/sells.
