What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Finisher Laborer position at Greenwalt Outdoor Construction?
Greenwalt Outdoor Construction is actively seeking experienced professionals who possess a variety of exterior construction skills with a particular interest in concrete construction.
Responsibilities:
- Place, screed, float, edge and broom-finish concrete
- Assist with forming and layout
- Prepare subgrade and stone base
- Install reinforcement and expansion material
- Assist with concrete placement and pour setup
- Perform general concrete labor and jobsite cleanup
- Assist with demolition, excavation and other construction-related tasks as needed
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- General laborer duties
- Equipment operating experience preferred
Qualifications:
- Previous concrete finishing experience preferred
- Ability to perform quality flatwork finishing
- Knowledge of concrete placement, screeding, edging and broom finishing
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors
- Ability to work well with a crew and independently
- Valid driver's license required
Position Options:
Full-Time, Part-time, Temp-Perm Finisher / Laborer
Consistent position for an experienced finisher who is willing to perform general concrete labor and other construction work when not actively finishing concrete.
Finish-Only / As-Needed Finisher
Experienced finishers may also apply for pour-day or as-needed finishing work without committing to a full-time or consistent labor position.
Compensation is based on experience and demonstrated ability.
Work is based out of Chillicothe, Ohio, with projects throughout the surrounding area.
This is contracted position.
This position is “as needed” with fulltime / long term opportunities available.
