Duties

• Perform general carpentry tasks including framing, trim work, door hanging, cabinet installation, siding, and roofing with precision and efficiency.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete projects such as drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, plastering, stucco application, and metal stud framing.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans.
• Conduct concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and water damage restoration as needed.
• Assist with fabrication and assembly of custom fixtures or components using CNC machinery or manual techniques.
• Install fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinets, moldings, and other building elements while ensuring proper alignment and finish quality.
• Perform heavy lifting safely during material handling and site setup activities.
• Support remodeling projects by executing demolition, surface preparation, painting (including construction painting), caulking, and restoration tasks.
• Contribute to roofing projects by installing shingles or metal roofing systems.
• Engage in plumbing or electrical work when required or assist licensed professionals in these trades.
• Follow safety protocols diligently on construction sites to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and communicate progress effectively with team members and supervisors.

Experience

• Proven experience in general carpentry or maintenance person roles with a strong foundation in construction practices.
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with trim carpentry, framing carpentry, drywall installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and siding is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution.
• Experience working on construction sites across various environments including restoration industry projects involving mold remediation or water damage repair.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders).
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex tasks such as rebar installation or concrete forming.
• Background in manufacturing or assembly processes involving fabrication or CNC machinery is advantageous.
• Prior experience in roofing installation or masonry work will be considered a strong asset.
• Knowledge of plumbing or electrical systems is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.

Pay: $13.75 - $17.00 per hour
