Field Services Summer Intern

Reports To: GIS Manager
Status: Part Time Temporary
JOB SUMMARY
This position provides hands-on professional business experience through direct participation in field audits of water meter services, as well as the auditing and accuracy testing of meters on Greenville Water's certified meter test bench. The Intern will also support Greenville Water's Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) initiative, offering exposure to and experience with industry-leading, cutting-edge metering technologies.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Water Meter accuracy testing and validation.
- Advanced Metering Infrastructure/Request for Qualifications
- Auditing Fire Line Accounts
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in college, with college course work and/or experience with engineering, hydraulics, analytical skills. Professional customer service and communication skills. Excel and other office software. Must possess and maintain a valid SC driver's license with a good driving record.
