Salary Range $35,484.80 - $54,974.40
Anticipated Hiring Range - $35,484.80 - $45,240.00
Job Duties
Performs a variety of general maintenance and custodial tasks related to buildings and grounds.
- Inspects, maintains, and performs repairs on building systems and equipment.
- Performs preventative maintenance tasks such as replacing air filters, lubricating components, monitoring roof leaks, and cleaning roof drains.
- Completes facility upkeep projects such as painting and wall repairs.
- Assists in preparing and staging for facilities' meetings and event spaces.
- Handles furniture arrangements in office environments and meeting spaces.
- Performs general groundskeeping and landscaping tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and attractive campus environment.
- Responds to inclement weather conditions, performing snow and ice removal, salting, debris cleanup, and other emergency response duties as assigned.
- Operates hand tools, trucks, forklifts, snow/ice equipment, and other tools or technology (tablet, cell phone, CMMS) necessary to complete work assignments.
- Supports the direct supervisor with the observation of contracted services.
- Performs other tasks as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Over one year of experience
- Possess a valid NC driver’s license
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Normal work schedule is Monday to Friday 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
