Calling all sports business go-getters — this is a rare chance to work inside a professional soccer club whose ownership group includes global icon Ronaldinho. Get hands-on experience in sports business with two USL clubs — the Greenville Triumph (League One) and Greenville Liberty (U20) — at an organization on the rise, backed by one of the greatest players in the history of the sport.
This internship blends sponsorship strategy, proposal development, marketing execution, and revenue-driven partnership building, making it ideal for students studying Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or Communications.
What you'll do:
- Support the creation of sponsorship proposals, decks, and pitch materials for prospective corporate partners
- Assist with sponsor prospecting and lead generation to help grow the club's partnership pipeline
- Help forecast revenue opportunities and track progress against partnership goals
- Collaborate on marketing content and campaigns that highlight sponsor visibility and brand alignment
- Support social media, email, and promotional content tied to sponsor activations and matchday campaigns
- Enter and analyze CRM data to monitor sponsor engagement, fulfillment, and outreach trends
- Pull and prepare reports on partnership performance, activations, and revenue tracking
- Collaborate cross-departmentally (marketing, game-day ops, sales) to ensure sponsor deliverables and brand messaging are executed seamlessly
- Support sponsor fulfillment, recap reporting, and ongoing relationship management
- Bring energy, optimism, and an opportunity-driven mindset to a fast-paced, revenue-focused environment
What we're looking for:
- Excel skills; comfort with data entry, analysis, and reporting (CRM experience a plus)
- Marketing fundamentals — familiarity with branding, promotional campaigns, social media, or content creation a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communicator, confident presenting ideas and proposals
- Highly organized with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Comfortable collaborating across departments and managing multiple priorities
- Available evenings/weekends as needed
