About The Triumph

The Greenville Triumph Soccer Club is a founding member of the United Soccer League's League One, having joined in 2018. The club, which was runner-up in their inaugural 2019 season before winning a championship in 2020, has one of the strongest digital and social presences in the USL. The club has taken home multiple league awards for digital and social media and maintains some of the highest engagement across League One.

About The Liberty

The Greenville Liberty is a founding member of the United Soccer League's W League, which began playing in 2022. The club features elite pre-professional women's players and won the South Atlantic Division in 2022, advancing to the W League Semifinals.

Position Overview

Greenville Triumph Soccer Club and the Greenville Liberty are seeking a bilingual Marketing & Commnunications Intern to support the marketing department across both clubs. This candidate will assist with day-to-day marketing operations, community outreach, event coordination, and Spanish-language communications. This position is only available for college credit. It would start in Mid-May and run through August.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

Tasks may include but are not limited to:

• Assist the marketing department with the planning and execution of matchday events, community activations, and promotional campaigns.
• Serve as a bilingual liaison between the club and Spanish-speaking fans, partners, and community members.
• Draft and translate marketing content, social media copy, and promotional materials from English to Spanish.
• Support coordination of in-stadium experiences including fan zones, giveaways, sponsor activations, and halftime programming.
• Assist with the creation and scheduling of social media content across club platforms.
• Help coordinate volunteer and game day staff logistics.
• Conduct outreach to Greenville's Spanish-speaking community to drive awareness and attendance.
• Assist with photography, video content capture, and post-event recaps.
• Support partnership fulfillment and sponsor recognition efforts on matchdays.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
  
  

Intern Requirements

• Must be fully fluent in both English and Spanish — written and verbal fluency in Spanish is required for this role.
• Applicants with previous experience in soccer, sports marketing, or event planning are preferred, but not required.
• Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
• Must be able to work successfully in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks at once.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and evenings as required.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) preferred.
